  • Forest Glen trip we are walking over!!
If you happen to read this tonight, we will be going over to Forest Glen to perform and talk about our instruments tomorrow.  There will be some little kids with their parents to hear us, as well as, 4 kindergarten classes.  If you were asked to talk about your instrument, please talk a little about how to make a sound on it and then play a little song for them.  Thanks.

  • Playing Test #2
Our second playing test will be on Monday, September 26.  Everyone will play #29 Go for Excellence.  I will be listening in particular for good tone, proper articulation (slurs) and of course correct notes and rhythms.

  • Ear Training Quiz #1
We will have our first ear training quiz on Thursday, September 29. You will need to be able to write down 2-bar rhythms in 4/4 time using half, quarter, eighth and sixteenth notes. You will also need to recognize diatonic intervals including perfect 1,4,5,8 and major 2,3,6,7. Check out the links section for some sites where you can practice online.
