Library Resource Centre - Grade NA Library
WELCOME
Welcome to Meadowvale's Resource Centre! 
 
Our objective is to provide a welcoming, safe, and rich learning environment where students can explore and develop their reading, study, and research skills alongside knowledgeable and helpful staff.
 
We offer opportunities for:
-guided inquiry and research
-grade 9 orientation
-computer use and instruction
-small group work
-classroom activities 
-media bookings
-use of print and digital resources
-leisure reading
-quiet study
-book clubs
-volunteering
-purchasing school items such as bristol board, overhead transparencies, report covers and glue sticks
 
General Information:
-hours of operation are 8:00AM - 3:30PM Monday to Friday (early closings will be posted when necessary)

S. Ziemniak - F/T Teacher-Librarian
E. Nunan - P/T Teacher-Librarian
J. Enright - P/T Teacher-Librarian
F. Browning - Library Technician
 
Resource Centre Guidelines:
-books have a 2 week loan period
-movies/dvds have a 1 day loan period
-book fines are 10 cents a day
-video/dvd fines are 25 cents a day
-students must pay the replacement cost of lost items
-no food, drink, hats, cell phones, music or cameras allowed
-students must be respectful of others and all property
-Internet use is for school computers only, students are not allowed to touch any computer connections
-students require their current Student ID cards (which must be free of outstanding fines or overdue books) to sign out resources or use a computer

Visit Chapters Bookstore at 3050 Vega Blvd. (Dundas & Winston Churchill) and support your school!
Chapters will donate 10% of all regularly priced items purchased Dec. 2nd by Meadowvale friends and family to our school.  Help raise funds for books and DVDs.
